The Principal Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of an enterprise HCM SaaS solution. The Principal Consultant will provide HCM product, business process and implementation expertise to their engagements. The Principal Consultant will work with their clients to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the HCM solution. The Principal Consultant will take direction and provide status to the Engagement Manager assigned to their project.

Responsibilities/Experience/Skills/Education:

  • 6+ years implementing HCM or Payroll solutions for large, global enterprises
    and at least 1 year Workday Experience

  • Experience working for a large systems integrator (Accenture, Deloitte, etc…) preferred
  • Experience implementing HCM/Payroll solutions using SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications
  • Experience with multiple HCM, payroll and/or financial applications a plus
  • Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Demonstrated project management experience; PMP certification a plus
  • Ability to quickly develop expertise with a new, enterprise SaaS product suite
  • Understand the Company’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
  • Functional and technical experience a plus
  • Assist the integration consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between the HCM/Payroll solution and benefit providers, payroll systems and other 3rd party/custom solutions
  • Work with the client to help convert legacy data into the HCM/Payroll system
  • Ensure the client takes advantage of industry best practices
  • Complete the work assigned to you by the Engagement Manager within the budgeted time allocated
  • Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status
  • Work with Delivery Assurance group to ensure compliance with agreed to project checkpoints
  • Help mentor new Consultants
  • Demonstrate a passion for customer service; ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production
  • Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Perform the following on an engagement : understand client business requirements, configure the HCM/Payroll solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems and assist the client in testing the solution
  • Identify opportunities to position other service offerings
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
